- Call and tell us what happened. We keep time open for emergencies on our open days and will give you the soonest slot we honestly have.
- Do you take my insurance?
- No. We are a fee-for-service office and don't bill insurance or accept Medicaid. Most of our patients pay directly, and the $450 membership covers an emergency visit, two cleanings, a full X-ray set and 15% off treatment.
- What will it cost?
- You hear the cost before treatment starts. The first visit is an exam and X-rays to find the problem, then Dr. K explains the options and prices before you decide anything.
- What counts as a dental emergency?
- Severe toothache, a knocked-out tooth, a cracked or broken tooth, a lost crown or filling, or swelling and infection. If you are unsure, call. It is better to ask than to wait.
- What do I do right now?
- For a knocked-out tooth, hold it by the crown, not the root, rinse gently without scrubbing and keep it moist. For pain or swelling, a cold compress on the outside of the cheek helps until we see you. Then call us.
